Since I feel like I was one of the few people in the world who bought a network adapter for his big PlayStation 2, I really enjoyed playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 online. It is debatable whether it was justified that a successor was released so quickly, but at the same time we lived in a time without patches and developing games was even more simplistic than it is now. I got an incredible amount of fun from the Battlefield-esque gameplay that the game had in my eyes and this fun only expanded when Part 2 came out a year later. I myself was a 12-year-old boy with a PlayStation 2 at the time, so this game ended up in my closet. In 2004 developer Pandemic Studios came out with Star Wars Battlefront. I like to watch the movies and I have fond memories of some Star Wars games, including the original Star Wars Battlefront games. Let me start with the fact that I am not the biggest Star Wars fan, but I certainly have a warm heart for the franchise. In this feature, Karim continues to discuss a slipped game series, starting with Star Wars Battlefront. These series were once the creme de la creme and perhaps lord and master within the games industry, but now it is doom and gloom with these games.
